Featuring built-in wi-fi connectivity, the Pro-Ject T2 W represents a revolution in turntable connectivity. Rather than relying on a cable connection or low quality Bluetooth link, the deck uses wi-fi connectivity with the potential for lossless streaming at up to 24 bit/48kHz. This means that you get to enjoy the full glory of vinyl playback, cable-free. As a Pro-Ject turntable, the rest of the package is equally impressive, with the class-leading cartridge, tonearm and plinth design all combining to produce scintillating sound.
Universal playback via UPnP
With UPnP (Universal Plug n’ Play) compatibility, you can wirelessly connect the T2 W to a vast range of products. As well as streaming audio systems, the turntable connects to many AV receivers, smart speakers and even TVs.
App control
Another innovative feature with the T2 W is the new Pro-Ject Control app. Download the app on your smartphone or tablet and you’re able to direct the music throughout your home. This means that you now only need one turntable for vinyl sound all around your home.
Or cable connect to your system – with built-in phonostage
For the ultimate sound quality, the T2 W can be connected to your main hi-fi via a conventional cable. There’s also a high quality phonostage onboard (also known as a phono pre-amp). This means that you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi system with an ‘AUX’ input.
Built for sound
Much more than just a convenient device, the T2 W features Pro-Ject’s usual high quality design and audio engineering. With a specification that includes a CNC machined wooden plinth with isolation feet, a glass platter, aluminium tonearm and a quality Sumiko cartridge, the T2W is built to perform to the highest standards in its class.
High-grade, aluminium tonearm
Confirming its hi-fi credentials, the Pro-Ject T2 W is supplied with a high quality tonearm. Made from a single piece of aluminium, the arm tune is both light and rigid. Combined with the low-friction gimbal bearing, it delivers precise tracking for the most detailed and dynamic sound quality. Fitted with spring-loaded anti-skate and weight controls, it’s adaptable to a wide range of cartridges although, out of the box, it’s pre-set for the supplied Sumiko cartridge, making it ready to go.
Fitted with top quality Sumiko Rainier cartridge
Part of the standard package includes a pre-fitted Sumiko Rainer cartridge. This highly regarded cartridge gives a natural and spacious sound that’s at home with all types of music. Being part of a modular range, it can also be further upgraded by the fitment of Sumiko Olympia or Moonstone styli.
Choice of finishes
The simple, elegant styling gives the T2W a sleek and timeless appearance. Available in gloss White, satin white or walnut, there’s a colour to suit your system and decor. All models come with a removable dust lid.
