Electronic speed control for everyday convenience
Unlike many entry-level turntables, the Pro-Ject E1 features electronic speed control. Switching between 33⅓rpm albums and 45rpm singles is handled at the flick of a switch, removing the need to manually move the belt and making everyday listening far more convenient.
Solid construction for clean, stable sound
At the heart of the E1 is a CNC-machined composite fibre plinth with no hollow spaces, helping to reduce unwanted resonance and vibration. This solid foundation is paired with a damped DC motor and precision belt-drive system, ensuring smooth and accurate rotation for natural, stable playback.
Precision aluminium tonearm with pre-fitted cartridge
The lightweight 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm is formed from a single piece, giving it the rigidity needed for accurate tracking. It is perfectly matched to the pre-installed Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge, a proven choice known for its balanced, musical sound that works well across all genres.
Designed for everyday listening
An anti-resonant ABS polymer platter provides a stable platform for your records, while the included felt mat and adjustable acrylic dust cover help keep vinyl in great condition. Available in a choice of high-gloss black, satin white or walnut finish, the E1 fits easily into modern or classic hi-fi setups alike.
