Mission 778S – Compact Network Music Streamer
High-Resolution Streaming with ESS DAC
At the heart of the 778S is a premium ESS ES9038Q2M DAC with 32-bit HyperStream architecture. All incoming audio is upsampled to 352.8kHz or 384kHz, helping reduce distortion and allowing the DAC to perform at its best. The result is a detailed, balanced presentation with strong dynamics and a natural sense of space.
The dual-core ARM Cortex processor ensures smooth operation and stable streaming, even with high-resolution files.
Built for Hi-Res Music
The 778S supports a wide range of formats including FLAC, WAV and Apple Lossless, along with DSD64, DSD128, DSD256 (DoP) and DSD512 via PC USB. If your music library includes studio-quality recordings, this streamer is built to get the most from them.

Mission 778CDT – Precision CD Transport
Designed for Pure CD Performance
The 778CDT focuses solely on accurate digital extraction from your CDs. By removing the internal DAC, Mission allows you to pair it with your chosen DAC or digital amplifier for greater system flexibility.
A temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) master clock helps reduce jitter, while dedicated low-noise power supplies for the transport, laser and clock circuitry minimise interference. The result is stable, clean digital output ready for high-quality conversion downstream.
More Than a CD Player
In addition to CD playback, the 778CDT supports USB file playback via its rear USB-A input. Compatible formats include WAV, MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and APE. The clear OLED display makes navigation simple and keeps track information easy to read.
Digital Output Options
With both optical and coaxial digital outputs, the 778CDT integrates easily with most DACs and digital amplifiers. It’s an ideal partner for Mission’s matching components or other high-quality digital systems.
