Kanto TUK Grand Gen 2 Passive Bookshelf Speakers – Pair

Experience a new level of high-fidelity audio with the Kanto TUK Grand Gen 2 Passive Bookshelf Speakers. Designed as the flagship model in Kanto's passive speaker range, these premium speakers combine advanced driver technology, an enlarged acoustic cabinet and impressive power handling to deliver a spacious, detailed and powerful listening experience. Supplied as a pair, they are designed for music enthusiasts who want the freedom to choose their own amplification while enjoying exceptional sound quality for home hi-fi systems.

Flagship Sound with Deeper, More Powerful Bass

At the heart of the TUK Grand Gen 2 is a precision-engineered 6-inch concave aluminium cone woofer, designed to deliver controlled bass with impressive depth and impact. Its larger cabinet volume provides additional acoustic space, allowing low frequencies to extend down to 40Hz. This creates a fuller, more authoritative presentation that brings greater weight and realism to music, films and other audio content.

For detailed high-frequency reproduction, Kanto has incorporated its signature 28 x 35mm Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. Its highly responsive design helps reproduce delicate musical details, crisp treble and natural high-frequency textures, maintaining clarity across a wide listening range.

Powerful Performance with Flexible Amplification

The Kanto TUK Grand Gen 2 Passive is designed for listeners who prefer to build their own audio systems. Its passive configuration means there is no built-in amplifier, giving you the flexibility to connect the speakers to your preferred compatible integrated amplifier or stereo receiver.

Each speaker supports 80W RMS and up to 160W peak power, with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Combined with a sensitivity rating of 86dB, the TUK Grand delivers impressive performance while maintaining a balanced and composed sound. Whether enjoying detailed music recordings or filling a larger listening space, these speakers are engineered to provide a confident and engaging presentation.

Premium Cabinet Construction and Modern Styling

The TUK Grand Gen 2 features a substantial cabinet constructed from acoustic-grade MDF, providing a rigid enclosure that helps minimise unwanted vibrations and resonance. Its rear-ported design supports the speaker's extended bass response, while the updated architectural styling introduces sharper lines and a distinctive appearance.

Designed to make an impression both acoustically and visually, the TUK Grand combines premium materials with carefully considered detailing. The result is a sophisticated bookshelf speaker that complements dedicated listening rooms and contemporary living spaces.

Quality Connections and Flexible Placement

High-quality knurled five-way binding posts provide a secure connection between the speakers and your amplifier, helping ensure reliable signal transfer. For additional installation flexibility, each speaker features a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting point underneath, allowing secure attachment to compatible speaker stands.

Whether positioned on dedicated stands or integrated into a carefully planned stereo system, the TUK Grand Gen 2 offers the flexibility required for a premium home audio installation.
