Designed with an ultra-slim profile, this lightweight floor washer handles everyday spills, dry debris, hair and tougher stains in a single pass. Its high-density microfibre roller combines with nylon bristles to lift dirt and hair, while the self-propelled cleaning action makes it easy to steer around furniture and other obstacles.

With up to 45 minutes of run time, two cleaning modes and a roller engineered to leave floors 50% drier, the Dyson W1 PencilWash is built for convenient everyday hard-floor cleaning. Finished in Ultra Blue, its compact design also makes storage straightforward between cleaning sessions.

Ultra-Slim Design for Easier Cleaning

At just 38mm wide at the handle, the Dyson W1 PencilWash feels light and easy to control while cleaning. Flexible steering and powered roller movement help the cleaner glide smoothly across hard floors, reducing the effort needed to move it around the room.

The cleaner can also lie almost completely flat, reaching a height of just 75mm when reclined. This 180° lie-flat design makes it easier to clean underneath low furniture without sacrificing cleaning performance.

Wet and Dry Cleaning in One

The Dyson W1 PencilWash is designed to tackle everyday messes without needing separate tools for wet and dry dirt. Its high-density roller uses 84,000 microfibre filaments to absorb spills while agitating and collecting dry debris and stains from sealed hard floors.

Nylon bristles built into the roller help lift and gather different types of hair, including wet hair. An anti-tangle comb positioned behind the roller helps stop longer hair, up to 35cm, from wrapping around the roller during use.

Cleaner, Drier Floors

The highly absorbent microfibre roller is designed to pick up water effectively, helping leave floors 50% drier than the first-generation Dyson PencilWash™ floor washer in low hydration mode. The result is a cleaner-looking, streak-free finish with fewer visible water marks.

As the roller rotates, dirty water and collected debris are removed, allowing clean water to be applied to the floor continuously.

Two Cleaning Modes

Choose between two power settings to suit the job. Standard mode is suited to routine cleaning and everyday spills, while MAX mode provides additional cleaning power for more stubborn stains and messes.

Hygienic Dirt Management

The Dyson W1 PencilWash is designed to keep wet and dry waste contained at the base of the machine rather than drawing it through internal pipes. Fine debris and dirty water are separated within the waste system, helping reduce the risk of blockages and making disposal more straightforward.

The dirty water tank and debris tray can be removed together in a single action, allowing the cleaner to be emptied in around 20 seconds.

There is also no dirty filter to wash or maintain. The floor washer is a non-suction design without an exhaust filter, with dirt and dirty water removed directly from the roller during cleaning.

Convenient Storage

A dedicated wand charging dock provides a place to charge the Dyson W1 PencilWash between uses, while the clip-on drip tray helps keep the cleaner neatly stored after cleaning. Its compact footprint makes it easier to keep ready for the next spill or quick floor clean.
