Powerful Twin-capture™ Cleaning

Dyson’s Twin-capture™ system uses two cleaning stages to tackle different types of dirt. A dedicated brush bar lifts larger debris, while powerful 21,000 Pa suction captures fine dust and smaller particles. The result is thorough everyday cleaning across carpets and hard floors.

Anti-Tangle Brush Bar for Pet Hair

The Dyson-engineered Chevron silicone brush bar is designed to pick up and separate hair as it cleans, helping to reduce tangles. It is particularly useful in homes with pets where loose hair can quickly build up around the floor.

Smart Suction Adjustment

A built-in Piezo sensor monitors the amount and size of dust particles in real time. When it detects higher levels of dust, the R1 Nurovi can automatically increase suction to give those areas a more intensive clean.

Automatically Adapts to Different Floors

An ultrasonic sensor identifies whether the robot is cleaning carpet or a hard surface, allowing it to adjust its suction accordingly. This helps the R1 Nurovi provide effective cleaning as it moves between different floor types around your home.

The extending side sweeper reaches 27mm beyond the robot's main body, helping to collect dust and debris from close to walls, corners and other hard-to-reach areas.

Climbs Raised Thresholds

The R1 Nurovi is designed to move between rooms with up to 40mm of clearance, allowing it to negotiate raised thresholds and other small changes in floor height.

Self-Emptying Dock

Once cleaning is complete, the R1 Nurovi returns to its dock, where the hygienic cyclonic system automatically removes dust and debris from the robot. The dock can store collected dry debris for up to 90 days, reducing the need for frequent emptying.

Eight Cyclones and Double Filtration

Eight Dyson cyclones separate dust and debris as the robot empties into its dock. The dock's double filtration system is designed to capture particles as small as 0.1 microns, helping to prevent captured dust, pollen and allergens from being released back into your home.
