The Blok Axis 700 Speaker Stands provide a solid, carefully engineered platform for compatible stand-mount loudspeakers. Standing at 747mm tall, they are particularly suited to larger rooms and listening setups where a higher speaker position is required. Their rigid construction, isolation features and mass-loading capability are designed to give your speakers a more stable foundation while helping to control unwanted vibration.
Built around Blok's Transparent Design Philosophy, the Axis 700 combines practical acoustic features with a clean, understated appearance that works well in modern hi-fi systems. Each stand uses a substantial chamfered plywood base, a rigid metal support column and an isolated metal top plate to create a secure platform for your loudspeakers.
Stable Support for Stand-Mount Speakers
The Axis 700 is designed for compatible bookshelf and stand-mount speakers, raising them to a suitable listening height without compromising stability. The 747mm height makes these stands a useful choice for larger rooms, elevated seating positions or systems where additional speaker elevation is required.
Isolated Metal Top Plate
A rigid metal top plate supports the loudspeaker while integrated isolation feet help reduce vibration transfer between the speaker and stand. This helps provide a controlled interface between the two components while limiting unwanted resonance within the support structure.
Mass-Loadable Central Column
The extruded metal support column can be filled with additional material to increase the weight and stability of each stand. Adding mass can help reduce unwanted movement and vibration, creating a more secure platform for your speakers.
For further damping, the column is compatible with Blok Isofill, an optional filling material made from metal hexagons in different sizes. Isofill adds mass within the column and is designed to help damp resonance. Blok Isofill is not included with the stands.
Rigid Chamfered Plywood Base
Each Axis 700 uses a substantial chamfered plywood plinth designed to provide a firm and stable foundation. Its rigid construction complements the mass-loadable support column, helping the stand remain secure during use while contributing to the overall control of unwanted vibration.
Stainless Steel Floor Spikes
Stainless steel spikes provide a secure floor interface on suitable soft flooring. They allow the stands to be positioned firmly and can help maintain stability during everyday listening.
For hard floors, Blok Floor Guard Discs are available separately. These stainless steel cups sit beneath the spikes to provide an additional interface while helping protect the flooring.
