Andover Audio SpinBase 2 Powered Turntable Speaker – Black
Enjoy your vinyl collection without the need for a separate amplifier and traditional bookshelf speakers. The Andover Audio SpinBase 2 is a compact powered turntable speaker designed to sit neatly beneath your record player, bringing together stereo sound, a built-in phono stage and flexible connectivity in one stylish cabinet.
Finished in black with a premium heathered fabric grille, the SpinBase 2 is a practical choice for anyone looking to create a simple, space-saving vinyl setup. Its 270° speaker arrangement delivers broad, room-filling sound, while patented IsoGroove® technology helps prevent unwanted vibration from affecting your records.
Room-Filling Sound from a Compact Speaker
The SpinBase 2 uses a 270° driver array to spread sound across the room from a single cabinet. Dual Direct Drive amplification delivers 70W of total power to two soft-dome tweeters and two oval woofers, producing clear highs, detailed vocals and satisfying bass for everyday listening.
IsoGroove® Anti-Vibration Technology
Placing a turntable directly above a speaker can sometimes cause unwanted vibration and acoustic feedback. Andover's patented IsoGroove® technology is designed to reduce vibration transfer between the speaker and your record player, helping maintain clean, enjoyable vinyl playback.
Built-In Phono Stage for Easy Setup
The integrated phono preamp allows you to connect a compatible turntable directly to the SpinBase 2 without needing a separate phono stage or amplifier. Simply connect your turntable, select the appropriate input and enjoy your records.
Bluetooth Receive and Transmit
With two-way Bluetooth connectivity, the SpinBase 2 offers more than just vinyl playback. Stream music wirelessly from a compatible smartphone or tablet, or transmit your records to Bluetooth headphones or speakers for added listening flexibility.
Connect Your Other Audio Devices
Alongside its phono input, the SpinBase 2 includes a range of connections for different audio sources:
- Optical digital input for compatible TVs and digital audio devices
- AUX input for line-level sources
- USB playback for MP3, WMA and WAV files
- Headphone output for private listening
- Line/subwoofer output for connecting an external powered subwoofer
Simple Controls and Remote Operation
Adjust volume, change inputs and fine-tune the sound using the central control knob or supplied remote control. Bass and treble adjustments let you tailor the sound to your room and listening preferences, while the discreet LED display keeps settings easy to see without distracting from the clean design.
Expand Your Vinyl System
The dedicated subwoofer output allows you to add a compatible powered subwoofer for deeper bass. A selectable 100Hz high-pass filter helps integrate the subwoofer with the built-in speakers, making it easy to build a fuller sound system as your needs change.
Stylish, Space-Saving Design
Designed to sit directly beneath your turntable, the SpinBase 2 keeps your setup neat and uncluttered. Its low-profile cabinet, black heathered fabric finish and internally braced MDF enclosure make it a natural fit for living rooms, bedrooms and dedicated listening spaces.
