The Apple AirPlay 2 compatibility will be enabled across the Uniti Range. The firmware will enable Uniti Devices to be able to use AirPlay 2. This update sounds as good as it should.
The Firmware update will be enabled on devices of the Uniti Range, from Uniti Star, Uniti Nova, and Uniti Atom. It will deliver exceptional broadcast radio experience.
AirPlay 2 brings in the advanced multiroom capabilities and natural voice controls via Apple’s Siri Virtual Assistant.
Along with Airplay 2 there are multiple feature upgrades in the latest firmware to include the ability to turn off the display on all models.
Owners or New buyers of the New Uniti streamers can be enabled to ensure that Apple Devices on 11.4 or later or MAC or PC with iTunes 12.8 or later can bring in this functionality

The IOS apps with audio include a manual AirPlay 2 that controls the playback and volume adjustment, but with the new addition of Siri integration it makes taking control much easier. Thanks to Siri’s advanced voice recognition, Apple Music Subscribers can use the natural spoken commands to request album, artist or playlist. Skip or pause a track or adjust the volume.
