Mick Brinklow
Mick is our Chairman and currently heads the distribution division of the Company. Mick founded the original organisation 'Dunstable Vac Centre' in 1972 and having worked solidly for over 30 years he enjoys the fact he can let his son Bob (MD) run the day-to-day business now. When Mick is not tending his beloved gardens or cruising in his equally beloved Mercedes 4x4 you'll find him at the Distribution Centre where he still loves looking after customers and providing that personal touch that he has given for so many years.

Bob Brinklow
Bob is our Managing Director and with over twelve years experience in marketing and electrical retailing is responsible for the overall direction of electricshop. He is extremely passionate about electricshop having set up the initial e-commerce site, which has resulted in exponential growth. Bob has illustrated that he is a natural entrepreneur in a variety of areas within the business not least by the rate of growth.
When not in the office you'll find Bob on the golf course striving to reduce the current handicap of 18, if not, then he's usually at home with his Wife and 2 Children.

Abdul Qadir
Abduls’ appointment follows a year of significant change and growth in which systems, premises and staff has been stretched. The challenges before us require an astute financial head to steer electricshop and Abdul does a thorough and diligent job! Born in Karachi and graduating from University there in Accounting and Finance, He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working with companies in a variety of finance management roles. Abdul is also a family man and is devoted to his son with whom he spends most of his time with when he’s not in the office.

Jon Benson
Jon is our ITC manager and all round web guru. Jon is responsible for ensuring that our IT systems are robust, functional and maximised. Given our reliance on business systems this is some responsibility. His key experience is working with large IT infrastructures however he is also capable of web design and comfortable with most areas of data management which assists with the regular provision of management information. His diversity is an asset in the organisation and his opinion is frequently garnered for various technical matters. In his spare time, which isn’t often, Jon loves fast bikes, cars and self improvement at the gym.

Peter is our General Manager and is responsible for the sales team and their targets. He is also responsible for the buying functions within the business. Peter has previously worked with Great Universal Stores, HSBC Bank and Volkswagen before joining electricshop. Mr Steady Peter is an important member of the board and enjoys swimming, keep fit and has recently taken up the dreaded golf.get the divorce papers ready!
